"(What I like best...) I like the stories and the pictures best. I loved the LabTerms." - E.W. (12-14-98)
"(What I like best...) All of it! The pictures are wonderful and the stories are excellent. Thank you for sharing! May I add your site as a link on my web site?" - J.G. (12-13-98)
"(What I like best...) Mommie and I really enjoyed some of your stories. She can relate to the clean bra one! Have a labragreat day! Keep up the good work!" - AHB (12-5-98)
"(What I like best...) Pictures! and The Private Lab. Caleb's Corner is a terrific page! Caleb is just the cutest guy! And I love his brother Gibby. I bet they get into a lot of mischief together. This was my first visit and I read The Private Lab first. I knew it would be special. It pretty much says it all." - D.H. (11-22-98)
"Cool site! I'm going to add it to my dog page links. My dog page is http://www.expage.com/page/chocolatedog/. It is about my Chocolate Lab, Rainey." - J (10-26-98)
"New Haven Register article; great story and good luck! What a fine looking Lab! Our family is looking to adopt/give a home to a yellow Lab; do you have any contacts? We are especially interested in an older dog- thanks in advance." - K (10-26-98)
"(What I like best...) It feels like home." - D.T (10-6-98)
"(What I like best...) The pictures - especially the ones of Caleb and Gibby! Of course, I also love the stories Walt writes. I really love Caleb's Corner, and am very happy to hear you won the 'Celebrate Life' award. Congratulations!" - D.W. (9-12-98)
"(What I like best...) The writing style. I love to hear things from Caleb's point of view. I've had a Lab mix for 12 years (Zack). Now I've turn his world upside down by bringing home a black lab pup (Boaz). Boaz came into this world on Jan. 1, 1998. He came home to his house in the 'burbs' in the middle of Feb. After 11+ years of having a "mature" dog in the family that knows the 'Rules'. We now have the addtion of this little pup that seems to want to challenge every thing that is/was/ could be. Boaz has quickly become a part of the family and is fitting in nicely. He is about 70 pounds but still crawls in your lap like he did the day we brought him home @ 10 pounds." - K.S. (8/4/98)
"(What I like best...) I love it all! As a Lab lover and owner for several years I really enjoyed your page and have bookmarked it. I'm just learning how to build my own first web page. My next one will be on Angee... my 8 month old yellow Lab." - S.F. (7-30-98)
"(What I like best...) My 14 month old yellow lab and I enjoyed it very much. We especially liked Dad's writing and downloaded some of the stories to share with my lab-loving friends." - E & LDM (7-12-98)
"Your Caleb looks exactly like my Uma. She was born Oct. 31, 90. She was a guide dog puppy and I was her puppy-walker (like a foster parent for the first year of her life, to socialize her). Her parents were Sid (a black Lab) and Secura (a yellow). They alphabetize the litters and we got the 'U' litter. Uma turned out to be a very dominant Lab and flunked Guide Dog training so we got her back as our pet. I can't imagine life without her now, except perhaps for the hair. At 7 and a half, she is getting a bit stiff in the back end but walks well when we go for our exercise walks. We don't get out swimming unless we make a special effort and I feel bad about that, knowing she is a water dog. But when I see her on the couch in front of the tv, I guess she may not worry about it as much as I do. I liked your songs Big Bad Lab and Labradoria. I sent your site link to another friend who loves Labs like I do. Keep up the good work - it's fun for the rest of us!" - J.R. (7-2-98)
"Caleb is a beautiful dog! I have a yellow, Slash (East Coast Golden Sunset, that's his fancy name), who will be 2 on July 3rd. He is my pride and joy and I would be lost in this world without my pup by my side. You're stories are extremely touching. Some brought tears to my eyes, other just made me laugh. Keep up the good work!" - C.E. (6-24-98)
"Your dog is so SWEET! I have a female that is about 18 months old...and I can see all her expressions in your guy! Are they all alike?? She's my first Lab (have owned 2 Siberians, 1 American Brittany, 1 French Brittany, and 1 English Pointer, among some 'mutts') and I am constantly amazed at her! You have a great website...I haven't seen it all, but have bookmarked it to keep coming back!" - R.H. (6-13-98)
"We share our home with a beautiful black Lab now, Jacob, but he used to have a wonderful older sister named Goldie. She's gone to Heaven now though, but she was the BEST dog in the world. You can come see pictures of Goldie and Jacob's best pal, Susie, the Golden Retreiver, at this site: http://members.xoom.com/janicekmc/aboutme.htm. Thanks so much for sharing this inspiring website." - J.M.C. (5-28-98)
"(What I like best...) The stories of course. Just read the one about Hershey swimming and it is just another great effort." - D.U. (5-21-98)
"(What I like best...) I don't know, really!! I've found here so much stuff, I have to return to look at all your pages. Hello Walt and Caleb! Your pages are really very nice, I like them so much. I enjoyed my visit here very much, I enjoyed looking through your pages. You have put together a well designed, informative and funny site! And I love the pictures of you Caleb, you are a beautiful dog!! I'm sure to return to visit you again :-). Have a great day - greetings from Germany, Angela and her cats, dogs and birds: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/4787/." - A (5-10-98)
"(What I like best...) We liked the 'Lazy-lab Sit' that Caleb obviously taught Gibby. Just to answer the Burning question - 'What kind of a Lab is Frenchie?' Answer: Way too Adorable! Way to go Caleb and all your FAM!" - R.B. (4-20-98)
"(What I like best...) It is very laid back and not all about field trials, breeding, etc. It is just about dogs. It's great to see that there are other people out there who aren't afraid to view their dogs as humans, and to admitt that they really run the house! We have a 2 year old Black lab (male) named Drake and a Golden Ret. named Alex (female). She is seven. We love them very much and can't imagine life without them!" - L.H. (4-7-98)
"(What I like best...) It's down to earth atmosphere! Caleb's pretty cute too!" - N (4-5-98)
"(What I like best...) The pictures, songs, poems. Enjoyed the visit." - D.M. (3-11-98)
"(What I like best...) Stories! Great site!" - M.R. (3-3-98)
"(What I like best...) The stories bring back so many memories of my yellow lab and remind me of all the good times to come with my new black puppy." - B.P. (2-25-98)
"(What I like best...) Just how true and lovable the stories are and also how special dogs are to us everyday. I would like to say how touching and heartfelt your stories are. I was introduced to Labs by my brother-in-law. His Lab Cody is a yellow Lab like Caleb and he shares that true love for her like you do with Caleb - it is very special. I also have a Lab mix and her name is Baikey and I love her with my whole heart. Thank you!" - S.C. (2-22-98)
"(What I like best...) It all just seems so familiar to me like I know the characters in the pictures and stories personally." - R.A. (2-9-98)
"Hi Caleb, its good to come visit ya again!!!! Anyways I just wanted to tell ya that I will be adding you to my labs on the net page!!! Aren't ya excited? WOOF! My web page is at: http://www.angelfire.com/la/TobysCorner/index.html. Hope you can drop by...Tail Wags..." - T (2-4-98)
"(What I like best...) Caleb's pictures and his dad's stories. Woof Caleb. We think your page is great and your dad's stories are really special! Woofs & Slurps!" - B & M (1-27-98)
"(What I like best...) EVERYTHING!!!!!!! (What I'd like to see...) a link to Hershey and Snickers' Place: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/8308/." - M.A. (1-24-98)
"(What I like best...) Beautiful design great pictures etc. etc. etc. (What I'd like to see...) a link to my page: http://home.wxs.nl/~brouw063/." - T (1-14-98)
"(What I like best...) I am always interested in other people's experiences with their Labs. It is interesting the common themes and joys which are found almost universally. I have not fully explored all your writings but was very pleased by the text which referred to the black dog. I was raised by Newfoundlands and came by my yellow fellow by strange circumstances so in effect I only knew of the breed superficially when I brought him into my life... or should I say he loped into my life. My decision was not based on the wide availability or high exposure of Labs. The trendiness of particular breeds and the potential consequences of this trendiness is of great concern to me and other responsible dog people. I have found the Labs to be an extraordinary breed and am continually dismayed by the lack of perspective and responsibility some people are showing regarding dog ownership, etc. Please continue to do the good work..." - C.K. (1-8-98)
