1997 Guestbook, part 1

"We love your pictures - especially playing with Harley and Coal. We also like all your links. We'll be back." - F, BG & D (4-29-97)
"Definitely a cool site. You should include some pictures of yourself in there too." - M.P. (4-22-97)

The Yellow Boys say: "Keep telling Cathy!"

"I like all of the pictures, one is cuter than the other... I especially like the comments under each picture!" - S.S. & B.S. (4-21-97)
"The photos were great. Labs are the most comical (humans) dogs. We have a 9 1/2 month old yellow lab named Bailey. She's the best. We got her when she was ten weeks old and it's been quite a ride since then. She's the best thing that ever happened to us. I would send you a pic of her, but I'm not at home right now and they are all loaded on my computer at home. If you want to see her, please email me. I'd love to chat with you or any Lab lovers. Otis would make Bailey a great boyfriend, hmmm?" - K.B., M.B. & B (4-21-97)

Otis says: "Goody - another girlfriend!"
Jake says: "Hey - what about me?!?"

"My Labs, Maverick & Charlie, want to add Otis and Jake to their list of friends on their homepage (http://www.voicenet.com/~ldwalsh/dogpage.htm). They'd like Otis and Jake to add them to your list. Drop by our doghouse and check out Mav and Charlie!" - D.W., M & C (4-17-97)

The Yellow Boys say: "No sooner asked than done! Come back and visit anytime."

"Great pictures of Great Labs!" - S (4-17-97)
"I am adopting two female yellow labs in a week. They are mother and daughter, 4 years old and 2 years old. I will set up a page for them as soon as I get some pictures taken. My web page URL is http://www.guyton.com/robert/. I will have a link to my doghouse page as soon as I set it up. But for now, there are two pictures of them on my web page. I will send you their URL and maybe you can add it to your list. Thanks." - R.M. (4-17-96)

The Yellow Boys say: "Send that URL just as soon as you get it set up. We've got plenty of room in our Backyard - especially for 'girl' labbies!"

"Hampton is looking for friends for his Lab half. Hampton's half Dalmatian and half Lab - and all trouble. http://www.stern.nyu.edu/~rcr2/dogdex.html" - H (4-16-97)
"We are looking for a yellow lab pup. We have a chocalate male 2 years old named Griffin. We have had his sister named from the time we got Griffin. Sabine is her name and were having a tough time of it. My wife is a teacher and wants to get her by summer break so she has time to work with her. Any ideas for breeders out in California?" - T.H. (4-5-97)
"I'm a chow/collie mix, and a pretty big guy... I like seeing and hearing about other big dogs like me. I just love all the pictures by the pool... that water looks nice and cool, but I'm sure you're another hot dog! I'd like to see more pictures... those are lots of fun, it's like seeing postcards from around the world :)" - I (4-2-97)

Otis says: "Did you say hot dog? I'll take two - no onions please! I like the pool too, but I'd get out for a snack."

"(What I like best...) the stories & pics, plus great links! (What I'd like to see...) a place to get pizza delivered without our master finding out!" - S & B (3-23-97)

Otis says: "I'll pay big dog biscuits if you find that pizza place and tell me about it! But I've got it pretty good - all I've got to do is use my 'I am SOOOOOO hungry' look and Cathy finds me something good!"

"Hi! My name is Bonnie and I am a Lab cross or supposed to be anyway. I live in Australia with my owner. I enjoy going to obedience class with my owner once a week to vist all my friends. If you wish to see pictures of me visit my owners homepage at http://www.powerup.com.au/~kjc/, also e-mail my owner if you would like a link on her page! I have to go now and and chase the ball my owner just threw! Bye!" - K.C. & B (3-19-97)
"Hi Otis. My name is Maizee, like you I'm a yellow Lab but I'm a girl, I love to swim also, my dad takes me and my son Cutter, Kerri and Chili swimming to this great pond. I don't need to retrieve anything, I just love to swim and swim and swim. Cutter, Kerri & Chili, just want to retrieve. Right now I'm waiting for my new pups to get bigger and for it to warm up, so I can get to go swimming again. My dad has a web page, but he hasn't got pictures of us on it yet. He says some day soon - http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/4342/. Bye for now, your Massachusetts Labrador neighbors." - P.B. & M(3-17-97)
"Otis, what a COOL NAME! My name is Otis and I am a BIG Chocolate Lab, 18 months old and 110 lbs. I own two wonderful humans, who love me very much. They have put me through lots of training and I go everywhere with my female human. I really spoil her, you know, letting her think she is in charge. Your page is great and I would like to send you my picture too. Like you said, a Lab can always use more friends. Take Care Big Guy! The SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE - OTIS" - O (3-13-97)

Otis says: "Send that picture on over and I'll put it into my photo album right away! BTW - I know what you mean about spoiling 'em. You just gotta do it - it makes 'em so happy!"

"Otis is soooooooo cute... I am new to the internet and just happened by - live in Upstate NY, have a 10 year old black Lab named Candee - love Labs and would like a house full of them, but they are so bossy!" - J.F. (3-12-97)
"We have a page now too! http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/7552/. We love to go swimming too! And we don't have to worry about snow or anything!" - I & B (3-10-97)

Otis says: "Please don't rub it in! I like the snow, but I want to swim now! I'm tired of the cold weather."

"It's very good... I'm a black Lab living in Argentina." - W (3-9-97)

Otis says: "Great! Another international friend!"

"I LUV this site!!! If you can, maybe you could have a link to my site (when it's finished and on the web cause I just started)." - J.S. (3-6-97)

Otis says: "Just send me the URL when you get your doghouse finished and I'll get it linked up right away!"

Otis says: "Footprints are welcome here anytime, so come back and visit me again!"

"(What I like best...) The dog stuff... Woff!" - G (3-2-97)

Otis says: "Thanks! You're welcome to visit me anytime you need a 'doggy' fix!"

"Very nice, personal touch, we really enjoyed the humor! Our URL is http://www.netusa1.net/~cahls/dog.html" - C & B (2-16-97)
"I absolutely LOVE the pictures. I think nothing is better than some cute doggie pictures! I think this is a very cute web site. I will visit again!" - K.P. (2-12-97)
"One of the many members of the 'Otis for Canine Cyber King Fan Club' nominated Otis for my 'Cracker Jack Web Site Awards', which Otis so richly deserves!... Otis, I love your sense of humor! You're fun and funny!... Otis says such delightfully clever things and I like his dog's eye view of the world. He speaks for me and all other Labs everywhere. Tell me more, Otis!... You say, Otis, that 'this is my first venture into cyberspace and I haven't had time to sniff out (and mark ;->) all of the trees and fire hydrants yet.' Well, you surely have 'made your mark' with me: I'm joining your fan club! Hey, Otis, come over and see me sometime: http://www.xtalwind.net/~mars/. Your canine cyber friend, Cracker" - C (2-7-97)

Otis says: "Awww shucks Cracker, you're making me blush. Cathy - if I'm this flushed does it make me one of those 'fox-reds' I keep hearing about? Seriously though, thank you for being so kind. Comments like these make the hard work of maintaining a nice 'doghouse' worthwhile."

"There is a really good retriever site at www.starsouth.com/wrc/ it is about working retrievers. Also I noticed in your newsgroups you did not have rec.hunting.dogs. You also might add the address to CERF. I do not have it right now but if I get a chance I will send it to you. Take care and keep up the good work." - B.M. (2-5-97)

Otis says: "No sooner said than done!"

"I have Otis' page bookmarked because it is the quickest and easiest way to find other doggie sites." - D.V. (1-28-97)
"My name is Eve and I am a 3 year old black lab from Virginia. You are very lucky to have such great human companions! I also love swimming more than anything else - I don't have a pool in my yard, but my parents do take me on their boat all the time and it's great! I especially loved your doghouse because you are so much like me! I love basketball, snoozing on my back with my belly splayed upward, swimming, playing with my canine buddies, having snowball battles in the snow with my human friends, etc. Thanks for sharing your doghouse with us, Otis!" - E (1-25-97)

Otis says: "I couldn't agree more Eve. I am lucky to have Cathy and Harvey, but don't tell them O.K.? I've got them thinking that they're lucky to have ME!"

"(What I like best...) all the pictures! I am a big dog too and I am interested in other large labs." - H (1-15-97)
"Great pictures, not just a blob in a smear! Also great links." - J.B. (1-8-97)
